From the upstream vendor: THE PLAN: We are currently testing a new build that reverts the changes introduced in yesterday's CVE-related release. While this update does not address the root cause, it will restore normal update functionality and prevent disruptions for users in the short term. We expect to release this build shortly.
Unfortunately, some upstream changes had unforeseen consequences, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. Our team is actively working on a long-term solution to resolve the underlying issue, to address some inadequate testing procedures, and steps to prevent such events in the future, with development efforts ongoing into next week.
